Major Regional Medical Center
Problem
This major regional medical center had recently taken over a smaller hospital just a few blocks away from its main campus. But there was a problem: as a former children's hospital, adults were confused and hesitant to have surgeries there, even though adult surgeries were being performed.
Solution
Our team came up with a solution that met the new patient communication need. We designed a pocket folder with staggered inserts. The folder has die cut squares and the cover wraps around the back, making it two-ply, to securely hold inserts. Each insert has different images. Adults are given folders with images of adults, while children receive inserts tailored to them with images of children. The back cover has a pocket to hold important information and flyers that change.
Results
Anyone having surgery at this medical center's "other" nearby campus is greeted with an introductory brochure that is appropriately personal to them. They walk out with one brochure that answers their questions on visiting hours, critical phone numbers and other important information. The brochure was chosen in 2007 by Print Solutions Magazine for an award of Distinction in the Business to Consumer category.
